Hello armies! Mr. Frog here and I am not introducing another agent to you guys. I’m here to introduce a gun in Valorant! Anyway, valorant is complete with weapons from various classifications, to support an array of playstyles. With 17 different guns to choose from in six different categories. One of them is Vandal, The fully-automatic Vandal sacrifices higher spread and recoil for a linear damage range; regardless of distance, it will always kill in five shots to the legs, four to the body and one shot to the head. The Vandal is an assault rifle that costs 2,900 credits and it has high DPS at any range. It is one of the most versatile weapons in Valorant.
The damage of one Vandal bullet to the head is 160 health for 0-50 meter range which is more than enough for killing a full health and max armor target. This gun is great to use for larger maps and long spaces since The damage of this gun is still 160 health for a headshot even if you’re far away from your target. Making a headshot from afar using vandal may be hard since the scope for vandal is just 1.25x since it’s an assault rifle and not a sniper rifle. It has a slower fire rate (9.75 rounds/sec, 585 RPM) and a slightly smaller magazine in comparison to the Phantom. The dueling potential of this gun in longer spaces is really high so if you’re confident with your aim, this gun is recommended. The Vandal can be used to spray on your enemies but the recoil is really hard to control so people mostly use it for burst damage instead of sprays. This gun is really good on bigger maps like Breeze and Icebox due to the fact that the damage of Vandal doesn’t change if your target is far away. Overall, its first bullet accuracy is not as good as the Phantom but this can be neglected in most situations.
So who could be the best agent to use this weapon? Given how difficult it is to master the Vandal’s spray pattern, it’d be wise to play more conservatively. So with that in mind, Sage should be the Agent playing with the most passive playstyle (given that you want her alive in the late stages of a round).
With that said, the Vandal’s lethality at any range means that if you are a sharp shot, you can get away with entry fragging with the Vandal.
