Hi beautiful people! My name is Sky Bambie and I am apart of Hubient Talents
I recently visited a Clay making ceramic class in Sydney last weekend and was inspired to explore other classes you can take for various fun hobbies and skills.

Don’t worry if you have absolutely no experience before joining these classes, almost all classes will be for beginners and will state otherwise if they expect a level of skill.
Clay making
Make a vase, mug or a plant holder! You will be taken through step by step of the process of your desired clay creation. After your class you will leave your clay creation for the staff who will get your clay fired and ready for you to pick up around 3 weeks later. there are also wheel throwing sessions you can choose from as well. A lot of these classes include BYO wine and snacks which is a plus.
Be prepared for your hands to be covered in clay!
Mosaic Lantern
Learn the art of traditional Turkish mosaic making, where you will learn the techniques of assembling geometric patterns. Using your selected geometric template, you will be guided by your teacher to create these beautiful lamps.
These will look beyond gorgeous in any home.
Paint and sip
Enjoy some wine; like being creative? Combine the two and prepare for a fun relaxed class where you will be provided with a painting to follow and guided each step of the way by your teacher while you sip on your wine (BYO wine and snacks) during the process you may question the steps along the way on how your painting is looking but trust the process and you will be left with a beautiful painting.
Pasta class
Want a skill you can brag to all your friends about? Learn how to make one of the most beloved foods in the world! Pasta making classes will have you creating your food from scratch with create the pasta dough to creating the sauce and filling.
Going through the process will make the pasta taste just that little bit better and satisfying at the end!
Floral arrangement
I’m sure a lot of you have walked past a florist and envisioned yourself putting together beautiful combos or even thought you could do a better job. Well, why not put it to the test
There are amazing classes that explore the Ikebana’ technique a Japanese-style flower arrangement class, classes that explore succulent wreaths and your simple Boquet.
This is a class that could come in handy for future parties’ weddings, ect.
Rock climbing
Get your blood pumping, work out and test yourself. You can conquer your fear or beat your expectations by the end you will feel accomplished as you reach the top and feel capable to take on the world after this class, including possible sore arms if you haven’t exercised in a while.
Yoga
Relax your mind, body and realign your energy with a yoga class.
It can seem scary to start and sometimes you aren’t sure if you are doing the poses right so having a teacher there beside you will ensure confidence.
There are even animal yoga classes that have become popular over the years. Some with goats chilling in the room to puppies running around.
Candle making
Ever wondered how your beautiful fragrant lights of joy are made from?
Take a candle making class to learn how to make all the different types of candles from tea light, soy, to beeswax candles.
It looks so satisfying when they pour the moulds!
Archery
Archery is super fun, and it satisfies that sci fi fantasy geek in me (even though I’m not the greatest in hitting the target)
Feel like a badass and pick up a bow and arrow whilst the teacher helps teach you concentration and target hitting accuracy.
You will be given a bow and arrow that suits your strength and height so do not stress about not being strong enough!
This is also a fantastic way to make friends!
But if you are more of an introvert and would like to take baby steps first , since covid virtual classes have become more popular than ever! Take a virtual class then when you feel comfortable you can join the in-person class.
