HI beautiful people! MY name is Sky Bambie and I am a part of the Hubient Talents.
Last weekend I visited a beautiful tucked away bar located in Chippendale on Kensington st right next to the famous and previously mentioned (Places to visit in Chippendale Vlog) Spice Alley.
This place is a beautiful unique bar with inventive drinks and to top it off they are constantly re-inventing their drinks to add to the menu!

As you enter you will notice a subtle mood lighting with gold chandelier that sets the tone and aesthetic atmosphere. You can sit outside and enjoy the breeze sheltered by umbrellas, sit inside near the bar or make your way up the staircase and be seated upstairs.
One feature of the décor I really loved were the quotes displayed in beautiful gold writing on the walls as you enter the rooms
- Cocktails and laughter but what comes after?
- Gin and tonic has saved more Englishmen’s lives and minds than all the doctors in the empire
- Gin is the tonic for all my woes, the elixir for my happy day!

What I ordered
When making my way to see the bar I was surprised by so many different types of alcohol! Visiting gin lane, you will easily find your favourite alcohol no problem.
They provide over 150 different gins amongst a sea of other amazing options.
Drinks -
One of the drinks I ordered that stole the show was the
- GL Aquarium – Gin, Pavan, Cinnamon Syrup, Blue Curacao, Marini Bitter, White Cacao, Orange Bitters, Prosecco. Served W. Smoke & Aquarium Trimmings.
This drink came in a lit up giant box bigger than my head! The colours changed on a cycle or you could press a button to just have the light on blue. They placed toy fish in as well and this drink is definitely to share otherwise you will think you found nemo.

Next was a fun drink called girls night out. This was the most interactive drink out of the three.
- Girls’ night out – Parma Violet & Rose Infused Gin, Pressed Raspberry, Raspberry & Violet Liqueur, Violet Syrup. Served W Rose Infused Fairy Floss & A Side of Prosecco.
This drink came with fairy floss at the top to represent girls’ hair, a perfume spray with prosecco inside and an eatable lolly lipstick.

Blue magic was the calmest of the 3 in terms of flashiness, but the taste absolutely made up for it!
- Blue Magic- Bombay Sapphire, Blue Magic & Lavender syrup, Indonesian spices, Topped W. Fever-Tree Tonic. Served W. Fresh Citrus.

Food
For food I ordered the cheese board of course, and the Sweet potato chips to get some carbs in before the alcohol started. They both complimented the drinks perfectly. I also recommend ordering from their Japanese menu when visiting as well where you can find sushi, spring rolls ect.

When I go back to visit, I will be ordering these very interesting and fun drinks!
Named after the famous tv show we have the drink
Breaking Bad
Salted Tequila, Blue Falurnum, Orgeat Syrup, Absinthe, Green Chartreuse & Prosecco Float. Served In A Medical Beaker W. Champagne & Absinthe Injection & Walter White Smoked Salt Radioactive Bag. And the drink aesthetically pleasing drink that instagrammers die to take photos and videos of called ..
Lightbulb Moment
Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Fresh Mint, Lemon & Peach, Blue Curacao, Rose Essence, Charged W. Prosecco. Served In A Smoking Lightbulb.
Gin Craze
Gin lane references the iconic print from English artist William Hogarth.
The gin crisis from 1689 was caused by the English government encouraging the industry of distilling, as it helped prop up grain prices and increase trade. Back then the industry had no quality control and therefore gin was frequently mixed with turpentine. What made things worse was how easy it was to be qualified to distil as you only needed an application and By 1730, there was an estimated 7,000 gin shops across England.
When it became apparent that gin consumption was causing problems, efforts were made to control the production of the spirit. Gin Lane depicts the squalor and despair of a community raised on gin. Desperation, death, and the destruction of a functioning society are displayed.

Take away gin bottles
Gin Lane also provides adorable take away options of their magical creations packed into beautiful bottles, come by to pick up or order delivery and enjoy from the comfort of your own home or even better bring to your next party to show off your taste to your friends.

Gin School
Gin Lane’s “Gin School” is a class I will putting on my weekend list ASAP. Make sure to book with friends as they are now taking bookings for groups between 8 to 25 guests!
A 1 hour and 30-minute class that includes Gin tastings from Australia and around the world. Some interesting facts and history on Gin and a mixology lesson.
This class sounds perfect for work Christmas parties, birthdays, bachelorette nights or even just a fun night out with friends whilst learning some amazing tips and tricks.
