Hello Everyone! This is Mr. Frog HUBient and I am here to give you a Smite God Spotlight. And today we’re going to feature one of the playable Gods in Smite, Bacchus.
Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you may die. Bacchus, the Roman God Of Wine, Lewd Behavior, and Madness, is the most ardent adherent to this creed. Bacchus, who is a result of a lifetime of alcohol overindulgence and deviant behavior could be simply insane.
Bacchus’ Greek counterpart Dionysus was among the twelve Olympians, along with Aphrodite and Apollo, Ares. Artemis. Athena. Demeter. Hephaestus. Hera. Hermes. Poseidon. Zeus. Hestia. According to some files, Bacchus was originally going to be released under the name of his Greek counterpart Dionysus. Bacchus’ default joke and taunt voice lines vary depending on how full his Drunk-O-Meter has been, becoming more slurred or rowdy.
These are Bacchus’ abilities. His passive skill is Drunk-O Meter. Bacchus is a fan of the drink. As he drinks from his jug, Bacchus becomes more intoxicated and gains Buffs when getting Tipsy or Smashed. Bacchus celebrates the killing of an enemy god by giving him 10% on his meters. His first ability is Chug. Bacchus drinks from his jug to get more Buffs. Belly Flop is the 2nd ability. Bacchus leaps into the air, but not so gracefully, and comes slamming down to the ground belly-first, knocking enemies into the air, and dealing damage. All enemies will be Slowed if he is Tipsy. Belch of Gods is the third Ability. Bacchus makes a loud, obnoxious belch that does damage every .5 second for 2 seconds. It also reduces enemy healing. Tipsy makes enemies stunned for 1s if he is present. Bacchus is immune from knockback for the duration. Bacchus Ultimate is intoxicate. Bacchus smashes the jug of wine, intoxicating enemies nearby and doing extensive damage. Bacchus can also be Smashed to gain a Magical Power Buff due to his anger at his wine loss.
Bacchus is all about having fun. Chug is not a great way to rank up, and the buff it gives you feels stale. To encourage Bacchus players not to chug before engaging in combat, we have added an additional Magical Power buff. This will allow our big boy to swing hard at his enemies just like in the old days. Like many tanks, Bacchus relies on his basic attack for damage. You can increase your hits by picking up Qin’s Blades or Demonic Grip to help you get more kills.
That’s all for Bacchus! Which Smite God should I do next? Let me know in the comment box below. Be sure to follow Hubient social media to be updated on all our content like this. Thank you and catch you next one.
