Hello everyone! Welcome to Mr.Frog channel. In this article, I will give you my first impression about a free-to-play video game, Paladins.
Paladins: Champions of the Realm is a free-to-play online hero shooter video game by Hi-Rez. The game was developed by Evil Mojo, an internal studio of Hi-Rez and was available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, followed by a Nintendo Switch version. Paladins takes place in a sci-fi fantasy world called Realm or The Realm. There are elements of both fantasy and science fiction, including medieval-looking soldiers who use ranged weapons such as shotguns and assault rifles instead of swords. There are also other factions in the game as well, such as the “Abyss”, the “Thousand Hands Guild”, the “Pyre” and the “Darkness”, which do not necessarily pick a side between the Magistrate nor the Resistance, but do play a prominent role in some characters’ lore.
Paladins is a team-based, first-person shooter. It focuses on two teams of five players who compete for combat-based goals. Each player selects a champion to represent their team. The match is played in sci-fi fantasy maps. Each champion can have their own fighting style, weapons, and skills. They can also be customized and enhanced using a skin and card system. Each player has their own interface that is highly customizable and profitable. Avatars and customizable borders can be used to represent the player’s profile. Titles are given when a player reaches mastery level 30.

Paladins have different gameplay options: Siege and Onslaught, Team Deathmatch and Ranked. You can also customize the characters’ gameplay by unlocking talent (by leveling up), or by building a deck of classic cards. Each champion can have three talents. Each talent gives the champion an advantage but they can only be used once per game. They cannot stack. Each champion has 16 classic cards that can be used simultaneously by the player to create decks. Each game can only have one deck. Each card can be leveled from 1 to 5, and the player can choose which cards. Each deck must score 15 points.
Each champion can use basic attacks and have varying skills. The basic attack is usually two mouse clicks away and three keyboard keys away. These skills may also come with passive bonuses. Each champion also has a “Ultimate”, which allows for situations to be reversed. Each ultimate attack is powerful and unique. They must be charged by causing damage to other players. The game has different currencies. Battle Pass XP for daily quests or in-game achievements, Crystals for purchase with real money, and Gold for leveling up, daily visits, quests or playing individual matches. Currencies can be used to purchase special items in the game
This game is a pretty good game, no wonder paladins got to 25 million players so fast. It actually looks amazing and plays smoothly. Almost all champions are really well balanced and that’s hard to accomplish considering how many ways you can customize your settings and gameplay during and before matches. Paladins is really about customization.
