HI beautiful people! My name is Sky Bambie and I am a part of the Hubient Talents. As the year draws to a close, I thought it would be good to take a look at some hard to swallow pills that can be hard to discuss. Instead of the cliché going back to the gym or healthy eating bucket lists let’s look at some statements that hold weight and with some internal thought can help take care of your mental health and break toxic patterns in your life.
You can’t make everyone happy
Not only can you not make everyone happy but you are also not responsible for other people’s happiness. It may be hard but also accepting that there are some people that won’t like you no matter how nice you are or how many times you bend over backwards for them will release so much pressure off your shoulders.
You don’t have to be perfect to deserve respect
If you feel like you are walking around eggshells or that you have to embellish your life to be perfect in someone else’s eyes in order to gain basic respect. They are not your person and you are setting yourself up for a toxic relationship where you will never be enough. Instead find people who accept you for who you are flaws and all.
Someone holding you accountable is not the same as someone attacking you
It can be hard for the ego to handle, but the best growth comes from being open minded and accepting you may be wrong occasionally. In a lot of situations Criticism can be constructive and is not a personal attack on who you are as a person.

If you never make mistakes, you never learn. As humans we grow from our mistakes it’s a part of life that no one is capable of escaping. Don’t let fear of making a mistake or fear of failure hold you back from achieving great things in life.
You cannot control other people or change them
People have their own opinions, thoughts and emotions just like yourself. At the end of the day the individual will decide for themselves whether they want to change or not and it is not your place nor is it healthy for you or the other person to try and change them.
It’s okay to feel bad sometimes
Stop punishing yourself or drowning yourself with guilt every time you feel upset or down. The fastest way to heal is to allow yourself to feel out the emotions even if they are negative. It is impossible to be happy all the time and is actually very unhealthy to hold in emotions.
No matter what choices you are making someone will have something to say
It is better to live by what you know and feel is right, rather than avoiding certain paths out of fear of judgement. No matter which decision you make in someone’s eyes it will be the wrong choice. One of the biggest regrets noted down by the elderly was living a life they thought would make someone else happy.
