Hello Armies. I am Mr Frog HUBient and we will have another Valorant Agent Spotlight. And the agent in the spotlight now is one of the most unique agents yet, not only thematically but also in terms of playstyle. Astra.
Astra is a controller agent who has a few tricks of her own. She can control her astral form and disperse stars on the battlefield to hunt down and destroy her enemies. She has the right tools to win the game, whether she is entering a site with her Nova Pulse concussion or locking it down with her Nebula smoke. She is too versatile. She is too versatile and has no other options than to bait it out. She can stall on her own for up to 30 seconds. Sentinels use controller agents to help them secure a bomb site and block enemy sight. Astra’s equipment is going too far. Astra can delay pushes for long enough to make duels secondary. Astra is on the opposing team so players rarely have the chance to use their aim and weaken enemy defenses.
Astra is a Ghanaian of Ghanaian descent. She has a dark skin tone. Her hair, which is braided and styled like a mohawk, is embellished with numerous gold beads. Astra’s outfit combines bright blues with purples and golds that include native designs from the culture. She wears a purple sweatshirt and pulls up the hood to show her Astral Form. She wears a blue shirt, a brown sleeveless Vest, and she is wearing a mechanically golden arm on her left side. Her right arm, which is exposed with a wristband of gold, is covered by a purple glove. She is wearing purple jeans with metallic anklecaps, and shoes in the same shade.
These are Astra’s abilities. Gravity Well is C Skill. It activates a Star, which forms a Gravity Well. All players in the area are pulled towards the center of the explosion, leaving them vulnerable. Nova Pulse is Q Skill. To detonate the Nova Pulse, it activates a Star. The Nova Pulse charges briefly, then strikes and concusses all players within its vicinity. The Nebula skill is E. It activates a Star, transforming it into Nebula (smoke). USE a Star, to dissipate it. The Star will be returned to its original location after a delay. Before returning, Dissipate temporarily forms a fake Nebula at Star’s location. Astral Form is X. You can activate it to enter Astral form where you can place Stars using PRIMARY FLIRE. You can reactivate stars later to transform them into a Nova Pulse or Nebula or Gravity Well. Astra’s ultimate power is Cosmic Divide. To charge Cosmic Divide, first use SECONDARY FLIRE in Astral Form, the PRIMARY FLIRE to choose two locations. The two points you choose are connected by an infinite Cosmic Divide. The Cosmic Divide blocks bullets, and dampens the audio.
Astra’s strength lies within her ability to cause damage using her various abilities and provide effective cover. Her Nebula’s smoke acts as a substitute to Omen or Brimstone, while the concussion of her Gravity Well makes up the difference for the flash/stim beacon. Astra’s Stars are able to be placed anywhere on the map. This makes them ideal for setups and line-ups. Astra’s Stars can be seen by opponents as well. Astra players must be able to see every corner and nook of the map. They can then place their Stars in the most convenient places, retrieve them from other locations, and place them where they are least expected.
