Hi beautiful people! my name is Sky Bambie from Hubient. I hope you all had an amazing new year filled with reflections and hope for the new year ahead.
Today I am going to show you the easiest way to make a vision board on Pinterest. A vision board is a visual representation of something you desire or aspire to be, today we are going to put our new year’s resolutions into this board!
So, first things first make sure you have a Pinterest account! And if you don’t want to make one, stop reading as this article is for winners…
One of the great features of Pinterest is the boards. You can create boards for different categories of your choosing. I named mine ‘My 2022’
Now that you have created your board, you can now start searching for photos to put in your board! Think about your new year’s resolutions or try to imagine who you want to be in 2022, visual snippets of what you would like your life to look like.

You can break it down into categories to make it easier to imagine. Some areas I would like to focus on this year include
Physical
- Healthy Skin
- Fit and in Shape
- Healthy long Hair
- Update Fashion Style
Mental and emotional
- Set a healthy productive morning routine
- Confidence
- Stress and anxiety management
- Mindset
- Self-awareness
- Self-care
- Fun
Financial
- Earning money
- Investing
- Smart choices
- Budgeting
Relational
- Romantic
- Friendships
- Family
- Community
Spiritual
- Values and ethics
Occupational
- Content creating
- Volunteering
- Travelling
Intellectual
- Reading
- Writing
- Documentaries
- Podcasts
- New skills (archery, pasta making etc.)
- Languages

Now that you have your focuses of the year, start searching them in Pinterest.
If you find a photo that resonates with your desired aesthetic, click the photo and if you are on your phone hold down onto the photo and wait for the options to appear for a pin or on pc click ‘PIN’ , then select your board for it to be placed in.
Find photos that help inspire you! ones that will help you keep on track. This could be quotes, tips and advice on specific topics or simply photos showing the exact topic.
Sometimes when you enter a search, you won’t get the photos your after. So instead try rephrasing the words until it captures what you are after.
For instance, if I put in ‘books’ because I want to read more it may come up with lists of book suggestions when I want to have inspiration photos of stack of books instead. So, I can type in, stacks of books, someone reading a book, books laying around etc.
Another easy way to find photos, is when you have found one you like, click into the photo and scroll down to see photos of similar style.

Pinterest slideshow on Iphone
This is an amazing way to keep your goals and aspirations of the year in a constant view to keep you on track. Pretty much what I’m saying is there is no excuses! you can no longer say you forgot about your resolutions or couldn’t find where you wrote them down.
- First download the Pinterest app on your phone and sign in.
- Open up the Widgets app on your phone. (iPhone 6 up should have this feature.)
- Type in Pinterest and then you should have 4 options appear
- Choose either the small square board or the large
- Then after placing the widget on your screen, hold onto the widget and option should appear for edit
- Now select your board
- You can choose for the slideshow to cycle hourly or daily.

And vola! You have your board of no excuses!
