Hi beautiful people, my name is Sky Bambie and I am apart of Hubient Talents!
Today I am going to look at 5 very simple fixes when feeling tired. Now the simple answer is sleep, but…. Life’s not that easy.
You will find yourself in situations where you must stay up to finish a project before a deadline or even you had a restless night where you kept waking up and now you are at work daydreaming about your bed.
Now I am not recommending to continuously rely on these tips to help yourself feel more awake because it can only work so much before you crash. Plus, if you are getting enough sleep and still feeling like you are about to crash then consider visiting a doctor to see if it could be an underlying issue.

Let’s start off with the first tip before you start your day.
- Get up and take a shower
A shower is a great way to keep you up and refresh your brain. If you can brave it try to have a cold shower or at least a cool shower. If you feel like cold showers are for crazy people then consider splashing cold water on your face after the shower.

- Eat Light
Eat lightly every few hours instead of eating a heavy meal in one go because then you’re just asking to go into a food coma. Sugar free Coffee or tea are a better option over energy drinks, as you are more likely to crash from the sugar in the energy drink after the high. Most importantly stay hydrated!

- Stay Hydrated
Whilst staying hydrated consider taking some B-12 vitamins to help turn glucose from your food into energy. B-12 also helps ciculate oxygen through your body.
- Get some fresh air
I recommended some yoga or light stretching whilst accompanying the fresh air. Sitting or standing in one place especially indoors can make you feel lethargic.
Being in a brighter environment with some sunshine is also an extra bonus to keep the sleep at bay.
- Take a break and engage
If you can find a fun activity or stimulating topic to discuss your brains is more likely to wake up. Find someone with a high energy personality or a person who is a great conversationalist. If there is no one around then call or facetime.
Also try to switch up what you are doing to avoid becoming bored. Boredom leads to sleepdom.
