Hello Armies! This is Mr. Frog HUBient. Today I will give you my first impression about a free-to-play strategy and role playing game. SpellForce 3 Versus.
SpellForce 3 offers a mixture of small-party role-playing games, in the tradition of Baldur’s Gate, and real-time strategy games in a style similar to Age of Empires. SpellForce: Versus Edition lets you enter the battlefields at Eo free of charge, so you can test your RTS skills against AI players or other human players.
You have the option to choose whether you wish to battle AI enemies in a Skirmish war or compete with human SpellForce 3 players in Ranked and Unranked PVP matches. You can also see the single-player scenario “Old Haalayash” to see what SpellForce 3’s lavishly designed single player campaigns and stand-alone expansions offer. Randomly, you will be assigned a faction. This gives you the chance to play as Orcs, Humans, or Elves. You’ll need to plan your strategy to maximize your warriors and workers.
This is only a small taste of what SpellForce 3’s RTS matches can offer. If you want more, you can get full SpellForce 3 as well as its stand-alone expansions Soul Harvest or Fallen God. This will give you the full PvP experience with all the factions.
SpellForce 3 is an excellent mix of RPGs, real-time strategies games and RPGs. However, it does this mainly because it is one of very few. Despite the fact that neither one of its halves is as robust as RPGs or RTSs with poorer quality, it still delivers an enjoyable gaming experience that’s unique despite its constant callbacks.
Well That’s it for SpellForce 3 Versus. So what do you think of this game? Leave a comment below if you have any questions. Join our HUBient discord at discord.gg/hubient for more games, events and game announcements.
