Jax Champion Spotlight

Hello Armies! Welcome to another League of Legends Champion Spotlight. And today we will feature the last known weapons master of Icathia. Jax 

Jax was an average foot soldier and had no epics before joining the League of Legends. It was therefore questionable why he was even brought into the League. The fighter proved his worth by defeating all who tried to stop him during his trials. 

Jax’s kit is incredible for those looking to deal a ton of damage and mitigate a lot too. He has, like all League of Legends champions, four abilities and a passive ability that cannot be upgraded. Jax can be deadly in two positions. He is at the top lane or in the jungle. Riven and Talon are his champions. Jax can play in the middle lane against them and It may be difficult to win a match. 

Jax relies heavily upon facing an auto-attack heavy champion. Jax is best suited for top-lane where he can win most duels. Jax can be bullied by champions early on and push him away later in the game. But, Jax is the most scaling champion on League of Legends. Any mage with a stun is helpful for Jax, allowing him to take advantage of the stunned opponent and lower his health, while the mage deals burst damage. A Jungler capable of keeping up with Jax’s pace will be great for ganks, think Yi, Elise, Evelynn and Shyvana. 

Jax should always be weary of his mana, in the early game. Jax will lose a lot of mana if he uses E, W and Q in one combo. If this fails, it could leave him vulnerable to attacks, especially if the other champion is not mana based. E and Q can be used as defensive maneuvers. If you are thinking about going in on the enemy champion in lane, be sure to place a wards in the bushes the enemy jungler could come from, you may need those two spells to make an escape. 

Your ultimate gives you a passive, every third attack, you deal extra magic damage. Make sure to focus on when your passive auto-attack is coming, especially when fighting enemies and last hitting minions.
