Hey! What’s up, Armies! Mr. Frog Hubient here and I’m back with another Mobile Legend hero spotlight. And today we’re going to feature the gentle mother of the undead, but also the only glimmer of light that penetrated the Mist. Vexana!
Vexana, also known as the Shimmering Hope was redesigned in the previous MLBB Patch. Her previous record was for the lowest pick rate according to MLBB stats. She was not present in the competitive scene. It takes patience to play the hero, as all her skills are skill shots. However, Vexana is still one of the great magic heroes in Mobile Legends Bang Bang. Vexana is a hero who can do great blast damage and crowd control. She can also make puppets from enemy heroes.
Vexana and her Undead Knight will curse enemies who are hit with their weapon. They will explode upon death. The curse lasts for five seconds and the affected targets will take magic damage to their bodies once they are dead. Vexana’s basic attacks and skills inflict a curse on heroes, minions and jungle monsters. In the laning phase, the passive makes the Vexana wave visible. Maximize your passive and curse at least one minion per wave to increase your chances of getting the last hit gold bonus. If the enemy wants to avoid the explosion, they can spam Cursed Blast. The explosion can cause 170 base damage at level 1, and can stack on top of multiple targets. The explosion can also curse targets that are affected.
Vexana unleashes the Phantom Claw, which terrorizes the first enemy hero to be hit. The Phantom Power will then explode at the enemy hero’s position, causing damage to nearby enemies and frightening them. Deathly Grasp can be a powerful initiation skill. However, it is slow and has a limited hitbox. To avoid missing the target, cast it where the enemy will be moving to. The Phantom Power will also erupt at the target and terrorize nearby enemies if the enemy heroes are gathered together.
Vexana hits the target area with a blast of Nether Energy after a brief delay. This causes damage to all enemies within. The area of effect slows down enemies, so cast Cursed Blast before Deathly Grasp. This skill curses everyone within the circle. It is one of the most valuable wave clear skills at level 1 and it is best to use in the laning phase.
Vexana summons an Undead Knight to the target location. This will deal damage to any enemies and knock them off their feet. Vexana will join the Undead Knight in battle for a while. The Undead Knight stays on the battlefield for 15 seconds before disappearing. The Undead Knight can also attack enemies randomly, but it prioritizes enemy heroes. If you die, the Undead Knight will still be on the battlefield and chase down your enemies until it is killed or 15 seconds has passed.
Keep your opponent’s health low during the laning phase by landing a Nether Blast or Deathly Grasp combo. Start ganking in the side lanes once you have reached level 4. Before casting Nether Blast, you want to first use Nether Grasp against enemies who have mobility skills.
Cast Nether Blast and Eternal Guard first in team fights. Then use Deathly Grasp to stop enemy heroes fleeing. Eternal Guard is knocked down for 0.8 seconds. Enemies still have the chance to Flicker. It is recommended that you use your roamer to initiate team fights such as Atlas, Franco, and Tigreal.
That’s it for our Mobile Legend Hero Spotlight. Would you rather use this hero in ranked gaming? Were there any important points we missed? Please leave a comment.
