Hello armies! Mr. Frog Hubient here and I am back with another gun recommendation for you to use in Counter Strike. A more accurate but less damaging than its AK-47 counterpart, a gun with a full-auto assault rifle of choice for CTs. M4A4!
The M4A4 is based on the Mk. 18 Mod 0 carbine, fitted with an ARMS#40 flip-up rear iron sight and KAC free-float RAS handguard. In-game, the weapon holds 30 rounds and has 90 rounds in reserve.
The M4A4 is a good weapon for firing short bursts, due to its high accuracy and moderate recoil. Spraying is not recommended unless the enemy is within close proximity. It is best to tap fire or burst fire at longer distances. The M4A4 can quickly fire lots of precise shots at targets at close and medium ranges. The early-spray recoil can be easily compensated for, by crouching.
Headshots from M4A4 can be fatal, but they are still recommended. Headshots can kill or inflict enough damage to another weapon that it is possible to finish the job. The M4A4-S is smaller in magazine and reserve capacity than the M4A1S. This makes it more suitable to a defensive role that requires more ammo.

In the Weapons Course, the M4A4 is used for headshot training. You can also choose it as one of your primary weapons for speed training. M4A4 is an acronym that denotes the weapon’s theoretical future iterations of the M4 carbine. The A# designation in the United States Military indicates the version/iteration of the firearm following its initial issue. M4A1 is the current iteration purchased by the US military.
Global Offensive’s M4A4 stands out because it features a “Contraband skin”, the Howl. This is due to howl plagiarizing artwork and not copyright permissions. The remaining Howl skins are therefore in high demand and can be extremely expensive. Valve did it because it wasn’t copyrighted.
Although the M4A4 had an original firing sound, the sound was modified to make it sound more like the M4A1. The M4A4 was the most popular rifle that CT players purchased in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The M4A4-S was introduced, and it fell in popularity among human players. Now, however, the M4A4 is used more often by bots.
So, that’s all for the M4A4! Which gun should I use next? Leave a comment below. Again my name is Mr Frog, and catch you on the next one.
