What’s up, Armies! Mr. Frog Hubient here and I’m back with another Dota 2 Hero Spotlight. Today we’re going to feature a great hero that can do a lot of damage and carry his team. Weaver
Weaver is a slippery character who can shift in and out space and turn back time to heal from injuries. Weaver can summon The Swarm to attach to his enemies and reduce their armor drastically in teamfights. Geminate Attack is the next step. Weaver can easily slip into combat or enter combat with Shukuchi. He can Time Lapse damage and go back to his stats and position from 5 seconds ago, if necessary. He can be difficult to find and lock down and does a lot of damage. To be successful, Weaver must farm well all through the game. He also has low base attributes and is slow to grow in intelligence and strength.
Weaver almost always plays as a carry. Geminate Attack is an extra hit that Weaver needs to be more effective. When used properly, Time Lapse gives Weaver an extra life that allows him to take more risks and outlast other carries. To be a good carry Weaver, he needs to spend a lot of time farming and time before he can worry about Mana. He also has to hit hard with his attacks if he decides to buy a Linken’s Sphere first.

Weaver is a very uncommon support. You can easily harass any enemy support or offlaner with your level 2, which is a point in Shukuchi, Geminate Attack, and your high base health. You don’t want to trade hits with anyone, unlike most heroes. Just hit him once with your passive and you can run away right away. If you feel that it would be too dangerous to deal Shukuchi’s damage, you may opt to not deal him any. Your below-average BAT, poor starting stats, and poor BAT will mean that you have probably taken more damage than you have dealt.
Weaver players should always make sure that they can use Shukuchi before committing to a kill. Weaver in the early game can’t risk dying as dying in the early game can stun his progress in the long run. Weaver will start to use Shukuchi more and more as the time goes on. Weaver players should avoid spells that disallow weaver to escape in dangerous situations like any spell that can silence, Stun, or root.Weaver is one of the most difficult heroes to lock down, but this elusiveness can be countered by disables, true sight, and silence.Though treated as hard carry, Weaver is one of the most difficult heroes to lane against because of Geminate Attack granting him the ability to hit an enemy twice in a single attack instance, effectively doubling his damage output every few seconds.
So, that’s it for our Dota 2 Hero Spotlight. Would you rather use this hero in rank game? Were there any important points we missed? Please leave a comment. Join our discord channel so we can play together at discord.gg/hubient. Thank you, Armies and catch you to the next one
