Hello, Armies! This is Mr. Frog Hubient again and we are here to give you another hero spotlight. Today we are going to feature one of the reliable heroes in the game Heroes of the Storm. Anduin!
Heroes of the Storm is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Players battle it out for supremacy of the battlefield, taking on the role of one of Blizzard’s all-star cast from across the Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and Starcraft universes.
Anduin is a ranged Healer that excels at saving his allies, not only by healing them. Notably, Anduin can save allied Heroes in need by using Leap of Faith, which makes them Unstoppable and Pulls them towards Anduin. Mastering Anduin’s arsenal of protective and offensive tools provides your team with a powerful Healer in the backline that can contribute a great deal during team fights.
Anduin’s Leap of Faith Build gives you access to a fair amount of sustain healing and a high amount of burst healing and saving tools to save allied Heroes from sudden danger or to help them be more aggressive.
Anduin’s Lightwell Build is all about keeping yourself and allied Heroes healthy over time, which is great when facing a team that mostly relies on sustain damage but weak against burst damage. Most of the Talents in this Build will contribute to reducing the cooldown of Lightwell at Level 1, increasing your healing output without having to spend extra Mana but with the need for allied Heroes to stand in the healing area for a few seconds. For this reason, we find it better for stationary fights to control a given location on the battlefield.
Anduin’s Inner Focus Build is designed to give a lot of single-target healing, which can be used to support allied Heroes who want to fight from an aggressive position and do not need to be saved with Glyph of Faith Icon Glyph of Faith because your team wants to dive, not retreat.
Anduin is a healing powerhouse that combines moderate area of effect healing and single target protection. As such, he is a decent pick against all sorts of damage types on the enemy team and a powerful choice against team compositions who want to burst down a single target. Since he lacks mobility to escape, positioning is key when playing Anduin. Keep an eye out for engaging Tanks and Bruisers that can use crowd control to lock him down.
