Glimpse, an Intel and a Rogue Company member, gathers information about enemy positions to turn the tide in favor of her team. She makes use of her invisibility and genetically enhanced senses, to gather information about enemy positions and then uses it against them by sneak attacks. Glimpse, a young girl, was forced to participate in a secret program for genetic modification. With the help of stolen Cloaking Technology, she was able to escape the prison that kept her captive. She was traumatized by her childhood and vows to end her suffering.
Glimpse’s speech changes after she is forced to participate in a secret genetic modification program. Despite having a difficult past, Glimpse doesn’t seem hostile or cold to anyone. Despite this, Glimpse is not friendly or kind but formal and solemn. Glimpse doesn’t seem to have ever socialized with other people in a way that allowed her to make friends or develop personality. She may therefore be considered boring and lacking certain characteristics that others share. She is cheerful and shows emotion when she buys weapons or arrives at the Chimera.
Glimpse comes with an assault rifle as well as a submachine weapon. The Nightshade assault rifle is fast firing and has the best handling. It can also have a magazine size of 25 to 35 if it is upgraded. It has the second lowest damage per hit, and the shortest range. This makes it essential to be upgraded. The Knight SMG is the most destructive, with the fourth-farthest range and best handling. However, it has the slowest fire rate as well as the second slowest reload time. It can however be upgraded to Tier 1 and has the ability to fire at a higher rate. The P12K, which is tied with the Executioner or the A3 Salvo, has the longest range, the best handling, and has the fastest rate of reloading. Glimpse loves the integral suppressor of this pistol, as her primary task is to sneak past enemy soldiers.
Glimpse has the ability to use her camouflage as a disguise to cover herself. She becomes translucent and less noticeable. Her ability does not have a cooldown like other Rogues. Instead, it has an “energy meter”, which recharges passively even when you aren’t using it. The camouflage’s energy is depleted while it is being used. Glimpse can no longer shoot or use gadgets. She can only use ziplines, open doors, and revive her teammates. This doesn’t last long so it should only be used to gain an advantage, shoot and then cloak up to recover. Glimpse has three levels of invisibility. These are indicated by hexagons on her screen and her appearance. Glimpse’s passive skill, “Sleighty”, alerts to nearby enemies via yellow arrows which appear on her HUD. These indicate enemies’ direction. This is a great tool for when you are cloaked and lose sight of your enemy or someone hiding behind a cover. This type of “reveal”, however, can only be seen by her and her team.
Glimpse has a Pop Smoke Grenade as well as a Semtex Grenade. Glimpse’s ideal weapon is the Semtex. It has a fast explosion time and pairs well with her sneak attacks. Similar advantages are offered by the Pop Smoke Grenade, including its ability to detonate on impact and effectiveness for quick escapes.
Glimpse has three key perks: Tracker Rounds and Life Drain. Tracker Rounds give Glimpse the ability to identify enemies and strengthen her Intel role. Life Drain can be used to reward players who have accumulated significant amounts of downs. It also increases Glimpse’s survival chances and her ability to engage in successful engagements. Padded Steps will be a major perk in her loadout. She’ll be able to walk without being seen and not alert enemies to her presence.
Glimpse is a versatile character that is largely due to her abilities. She is able to escape from ambushes, use her cloak and sneak attack. She is also a strong, independent performer who can do well on her own, even when outnumbered. Glimpse is a fast and efficient invisibility cloak thief, which puts her ahead of the rest. Glimpse is stealthy and has the potential to do a lot of damage. This fits well with her “silent, but deadly” title. Glimpse is capable of surprising her victims even when she appears to be out of options. She can recover to her full potential and get her out quickly.
